Position Details
Full-time Management role in Mahahual, Q.R. — $18,000 MXN/month, 8-hour shifts, 2 days off per period.
Requirements
2+ years’ management experience in hospitality, bilingual (English & Spanish), strong leadership and organization skills.

Role Overview
Lead day-to-day operations across the hotel, restaurant, and beach club. Uphold brand standards, deliver outstanding guest service, and coordinate teams to run smoothly and profitably.
- Full-time: (8 hours/day, 2 days off per pay period)
- Salary: $18,000 MXN/month
- Openings Available: 1
- Application Deadline: Until the ideal candidate is found
- Contract Duration: Initial 1-month contract with renewals at 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year based on performance during the trial period

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy: Set goals with Ownership, align departments, and motivate the team to deliver exceptional service.

Operations: Oversee FOH/BOH, housekeeping, maintenance, security, and beach-club service; inspect rooms and public areas for quality and cleanliness.

Budget & Performance: Build and manage revenue/expense budgets; deliver timely monthly variance and performance reports.

Sales & Marketing: Drive occupancy, F&B, and day-pass revenue; execute campaigns that highlight property amenities.

Vendors & Networking: Maintain a reliable roster of external providers for all departments.

Events & Catering: Plan and supervise on-property events (weddings, private parties, special dinners).

People & Culture: Schedule, train, and evaluate staff; enforce dress code and conduct; manage attendance, payroll inputs, and progressive discipline.

Guest Relations: Anticipate needs, resolve complaints in writing and in person, and ensure VIP handling.

Follow-ups: Track leads and conversions; report results and action plans.
Requirements
Must-Have
2+ years proven management in hotel and/or restaurant operations
Calm under pressure; collaborative in multicultural teams
Proactive, guest-focused personality with strong leadership, organization, comms, and problem-solving skills
Bilingual: clear spoken English & Spanish; strong written Spanish
Valid authorization to work in Mexico + RFC
Nice to Have
4+ years management experience
Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Culinary, or related field
Alignment with eco-/animal-friendly service values
