Working Here
Nacional is three businesses on one eco-friendly property: a boutique hotel, a palapa restaurant, and an all-inclusive beach club, sharing the same stretch of the Malecon in Mahahual. The team that runs all of it is small, and nearly every job is guest-facing. Whatever the role, most of the workday happens in front of the people we host.
We work in English and Spanish. Our guests use both, so our team does too. Expect to hear both languages across an ordinary shift.
The people who do well here bring respect, for guests and for each other, and they collaborate by habit; on a team this small, every shift leans on the next. Hospitality is the job itself. Initiative and creativity matter here, because a place like this runs on people who notice what needs doing and do it. A love of the sea helps too; everything on this property happens a few steps from it.
